Hey everyone,
I was wondering if any of you knew if UMich accepted late ACT and Subject Test scores. I submitted my ACT on 10-25 and my subject tests 10-28. I wanted to apply EA, but if this will hurt my chances I won’t. I’ve finished my essays and everything else, so I really need to know if they will accept late scores.
Their website says this:
All students are required to submit the following items prior to the deadline date:
Completed Common Application or Coalition Application with $75 application fee* payment (Please note that both application options include specific University of Michigan questions, and there is no advantage to submitting one over the other.)
High school transcript (additional requirements by country)
School Report (Common App) or Counselor Recommendation (Coalition App)**
One Teacher Evaluation (academic teacher)
SAT with writing or ACT with writing test scores***
TOEFL, MELAB, or IELTS scores (for non-native speakers of English)
Official college transcripts (for high school students dual enrolled in a college or university; additional requirements by country)
NOTE: All of these materials must be received by the Nov. 1 deadline for your application to be considered for Early Action.
You do not need subject tests to apply EA, I’d call them on Monday to see if they have received your ACT scores.
10/25 is a bit tight. On the other hand there is nothing you can do anyway. Have you submitted the application? You should be able to check the status on WA if you have submitted more than a week ago.
If it helps I had ACT reports processed on 10-25 and received a notification today from a college that they had already uploaded the scores. Michigan should have your scores.
