Late Scores (help!!!!)

I am taking the January 26 SAT. It will be my third time taking it. The University of Connecticut's deadline for SAT scores is Jan. 15. College board says the test scores will be available Feb. 14. Will UConn still take my Jan 26 scores to review my application?

You can call them and ask them this, but first why are you doing this ? You definitely dont want them to hold up your applicaton because that will hurt your chances too. What were your first 2 scores ?

My reading was a 570, my writing was a 590 and my math was a 520. I need to bump up my math score a great deal because many of the math scores that I have seen from their school are high 600s. I am aiming for a 650. I have 53 days to prepare and study the math so I believe it is attainable. I plan to bring up reading as well since that score is reviewed more than the writing section.

I am also applying to the University of Maryland, Hofstra, The University of New Jersey and Penn State. All three schools do not have a deadline for SAT scores. I do understand how that can be a negative for the reviewing process, but I know that my scores will definitely be included in the evaluation. Would you recommend sending my last score as well?

You will have to contact each school’s admission office and ask. There isn’t really a way for any of us to find this information. I believe from past experiences that a college will take scores after the deadline but I would recommend you call and find out.

Okay thank you so much! If I could still get my scores reviewed I would be ecstatic. UConn is one of my dream schools so I am hoping to bring my scores up enough to give myself a greater chance of acceptance.
