I just realized that I didn’t send in my writing supplement to Villanova. I thought I was sending in the whole application when I submitted it through the common app but because it was my first time applying to a college I didn’t know that you have to submit them in separately. I just emailed the admissions office with an explanation and my supplement. I think I will call them and mail them the supplement just in case. Will I get rejected because of this?
Rejection is not an issue. The issue is whether your application met the Nov 1 deadline to be considered under its early action program. If it is determined it did not, you will be considered for admission as part of regular admission. Call Villanova admissions and ask.
You emailed an explanation and your supplement. Did you go back and submit the supplement through common app? If you haven’t, submit it through comm app right away. On Monday morning, call admissions and explain what happened and ask what they suggeset you do. Don’t mail the supplement. You should submit it through comm app and you’ve already email it so don’t make one mistake worse by mailing in another copy. You want to be able to say you made a mistake, have submitted the supplement through common app, is there anything else you should do? Then ask if your app still has an opportunity to be considered under EA? Be respectful and accepting of their answer. Good luck!
