Late UC/CSU SAT Score Submission- HELP!

Hello!

I just sent in my SAT scores (rushed) and ACT scores (regular) to the UCs (Berkeley, Davis, Irvine, San Diego, Santa Barbara) and CSUs (SLO, San Diego, Chico) I applied for, and I heard from my friend that the deadline to send in my scores for all of the schools was the end of December. I realize now that it being a Saturday and even with rushed reports, my scores will not reach the schools in time for this supposed “deadline,” and I’m extremely worried that my laziness will hinder my chances of admissions into the schools that I so ardently desire to attend.

MY QUESTION: Do I have reason to be worried? I have yet to find a UC or CSU website that specifies a deadline for SAT and ACT scores.

Any insight is appreciated! Thank you in advance.

From the UC website::;;

Submission deadline

Freshman applicants for fall 2018 must arrange to have official score reports sent to us by December 2017. If you plan to take an exam in December, indicate the planned test date on your admission application.

I checked several Cal States websites.

CSU Northridge states you need the scores in by January 15, 2018 if you took the December tests.

SDSU states you need the the scores in by Dec 2017 since they only accept up to the November sittings.

SJSU states a January 3, 2018 deadline: http://www.sjsu.edu/freshmanadmissions/deadlines/index.html

CSULB has a Dec 31,2017 deadline for test scores.

You need to do some digging but the information is there. Just hope your scores make it these schools on time.

Ok. I had the same situation with my son. We called the schools before they went out for break. This is what they told us…UC s you self report your SAT/ACT score.
You will only need to send one to one of the UC s and all will get them.

Same now is true for the CSUs. They claim you only need to send just one in to one of the CSUs.

And, SDSU is the one the one that told us that we self report and then send in the real deal if accepted.
SJSU is one that wanted the real SAT/ACT in Jan. 3, but due to some internal issues are allowing some grace period.
So, don’t panic! You sent them in now. So, have a happy New Year. And New Year Resolution not to procrastinate. And, you can also make those phone calls on Tuesday when some will reopen.

Thank you everyone for your help, I appreciate all of the information! Have a Happy New Year!
