If a student isn't applying early to any colleges, can they take the SAT or SAT II tests as late as December of senior year? What about for California schools? (UCs and state schools)

Thanks!

I have no experience with CA schools, but other universities do accept December SAT results for the RD round, although they profess they cannot “guarantee” it.

you have to look at each college’s policy. My daughter recently had SAT score deadlines ranging from Nov 30-Feb 15. She did not apply early to any schools.

For the UC’s they state that they accept scores from the December SAT?ACT tests, but NO LATER. However, they also suggest that a student take the tests earlier than December.

As the above posters say, the best thing is to check on each school’s web site individually, for their specific information.

Thanks, hop. That’s what I needed to see. We’ll check individual websites when we’ve reached that point.
