Latest Law school ranking

Per above the law, USNWR 's latest ranking about to be released will have Stanford ahead of Harvard and UChicago ahead of Columbia. The “ties” are broken. Yale remains the top law school. New world order

Even if it is so, it doesn’t change anything. Year to year variation on USNews rankings does not matter unless it can be sustained for a very long period of time and even in that case only if it reflects a real difference in the schools rather than some random benefit as a result of a certain bias in the methodology.
Yale has been ranked #1 for 2-3 decades now, yet Harvard remains the destination for those aspiring to top jobs in the major NYC law firms also also to top political careers. The Harvard Law Review carries a prestige and recognition not quite matched by the Yale or Stanford or any of the other law reviews. Also the access Columbia has to NYC BigLaw will make it very hard for any school to dethrone it from the #4 spot. (Not in a specific ranking but in public perception).

All the top five assure graduates of ample job offers. There is definitely an uptrend with Stanford and UChicago. Harvard has lost some luster and Columbia needs to find an angle.

The world has certainly changed since Harvard, Yale and Columbia were the clear top 3.
