So my december score is apparently going to delay more than a week, I was wondering what's the absolute deadline for sending the SAT I score to Harvard. Is it ok if I send my score on say Dec. 30th or Dec. 31st? Will Harvard admission people have the patience to wait for my score report?

Harvard adcoms aren’t going to be waiting for your score report to arrive. I believe they start reading your file until all the materials are sent in, so you should be fine.

^ Confused by what you mean. If they “aren’t” going to be waiting for it, then will they start reading your file even if everything is not in?
Sorry! I had the same question and am a little confused.

First of all, Harvard accepts January scores. So the December score is never a problem, even if it’s sent on December 30th or 31st. According to College Board, the absolute deadline for the scores to reach Harvard is February 23rd, although I’m not sure how true that is. Anyway, you’ll be fine.

thanks.
How do you think colleges choose when to read your file? If they don’t have your interview sheet or official sat scores will they delay their reading, or just use what they have?

I believe that they need to have all the required materials in before they start evaluating you (i.e SAT scores).

They don’t read until they have everything in, as far as I know. That doesn’t mean they wait until your materials arrive. They have thousands of other applications to get through, so they read the ones that are completed. Also, note that interviews are optional.
