Latin Literature AP

How was it? Hard? easy? I took literature, and the multiple choice was terrible, the free response much better.

i agree, the multiple choice was ridiculously hard. i followed the catullus-ovid syllabus; the catullus free response went really well, but having 2 passages from the amores threw me off a little.

what passages were on it?

can't say yet, since 48 hours have not elapsed...they'll be posted on collegeboard.com sunday.

I also followed catullus-ovid, and was pleasantly surprised by the free response.

Yeah i agree...multiple choice was hard. But if you really look at the cases and take each answer one at a time and eliminate, things should go easier. Nonetheless, the lack of macrons makes scansion hard.

I had the opposite experience. I didn't think the mc was that bad, but the Catullus essays...suffice it to say that I was using old syllabus (I knew they had added poems, but they weren't in my textbook, and I didn't realize quite how many until it was too late.)
