Damn, I got excited for a sec lol. Got the email too, but I’m pretty sure now it’s just a HUGE glitch.

That’s actually what I was thinking. I haven’t enrolled yet.

I have no merit scholarship and have not paid my enrollment deposit yet. Maybe something else is going on here…

Lol my friend got that email too. I was ■■■■■ when he posted it as his fb status. He hasn’t committed to usc yet and he’s not Latino

Sent from my PC36100 using CC App

Nope, I haven’t committed yet either. I would if they would just send me my financial aid package already…

I’ve committed and I haven’t received any other merit scholarships. If this is not a glitch, then this is my first.

My son got it too. He is not a Latino. We committed yesterday and he has received a USC merit Scholarship as well. I was thinking of calling the number and verifying about it.

Please be aware that the e-mail regarding the USC Latino Alumni Association Scholarship was sent in error to a large group. A follow up e-mail will be sent this morning to those who did not receive the scholarship. Students who are scholarship recipients will be personally contacted. We sincerely regret this mistake and steps are being taken to ensure that this does not occur again.

lol and the excitement disappears…

Yea, I trust a person with one post.

Edit: Just realized I actually have volunteered with Latinos, so I guess in a way I earned it :)

Actually, Montystart is right. I got the email from Timothy Brunold saying that it was sent in error, so did a lot of other people. Check your email.

I haven’t received any email. Well darn. LOL.

Since I didn’t get this email, is it possible I still did get it?

Dear Student,

On April 26 you may have received an e-mail regarding the USC Latino Alumni Association Scholarship. We have just determined that this e-mail was sent to you in error. You have not been selected as a recipient of this scholarship.

I sincerely regret this mistake and steps are being taken to ensure that this does not occur again.

Just checked my inbox and got the correction email. Montystart is right. We’re not all ■■■■■■, kobudnik…

Okay sorry I questioned one person with one post lol.

Wow, I wonder if anyone committed to USC because of this error.

pinata - good question…

I got super excited for a few hours… was about to commit…
