Are there any cheaper suggestions in regards to laundry other than the Cornell facilities? In other words are there any near by laundromats that charge less than that 1.55 per cycle?

Smug: probably not worth your time to go elsewhere...the nearest laundromat is probably near the mall...

i hear there's a place where they do laundry by the pound, but again not worth it most likely...

The $1.55 price really bothers me. Talk about literally nickel and diming us (it was $1.50 last year). I would probably have been more accepting of a $1.75 price change since you typically go by 25 cent intervals with laundry machines.

count your blessings...i pay 1.75 for wash and 1.50 for dry...

ugh, what whiners students can be!

I pay $2.50 per wash load in the small washer ($4 per load for the larger Cornell sized ones) and $2 for a dryer load.

There are a couple of laundromats on Eddy, but I feel like it's not worth the trek. The prices aren't that different (if they are different; I don't remember) and you'd waste a ton of time going back and forth and waiting.

I was lucky last year in that my building had washers and dryers....crazy expensive though.

I've heard the laundromat on Eddy isn't much less and it's a pain to take your laundry from campus. Cornell laundry is also nice in that you don't need to worry about scrounging up quarters :-)
