Laundry Services

There is a laundry service called "University Laundry" they have a site at the same name and i was wondering if anyone has used them for their school and how reliable they are. They claim to wash, clean and fold but they don't say on the site what they do for damaged or lost clothes. It is going to be $289 a semester through a school plan would that be worth it?

I get buy with 1, sometimes 2 loads a week, including workout clothes. It costs $2 per load at my school. For one semester, this is $32 for one load a week, $64 for 2 loads per week.

Do the math for your own school, don't go with this troll's company. $289 vs $64. Hmmm....

Part of my problem is i don't really want to have to spend the time sorting and folding and putting away my clothes after being dried plus i am hoping for a better clean. I guess i am mainly looking for someone who had positive or bad experiences with these kind of services. Thanks for the input though i might just buckle down and do my own laundry.

I did laundry today. It took 2 hours, and while the loads were in the washer and dryer, I got some homework done and called my parents to say Hi.

I checked out the website. Okay, they fold all your clothes for you. Convenient until you put your shirts back on their hangers anyway and have to unfold. They check your pockets--not rocket science. Check and pre-treat stains--again, my cousin in 2nd grade could probably do this. I'm pretty sure just about everyone uses a dryer sheet anyway.

Sooner or later you'll do laundry in your life, on a regular basis. Honestly, I've never had a problem doing laundry at school. No random sticks of gum or a pocket of pens left in the washer/dryer, cleaning is as good as home, and I can start my laundry any time of day or night. And I met one of my best friends in the laundry room when I had to show him how the card reader worked.

Seriously, do your own lanndry and use the extra $200 for something else!
