Law School After Engineering?

Hey everyone! I plan on graduating college with a biomedical engineering BS. One of the options I'm looking at following college is going to law school to become a patent lawyer. Do you think this would be a good decision? If so, any advice/tips for how to go about doing so? I'm new to the idea of law school, and just weighing out my options. Thanks!

Whether it is a good decision depends on many things. For instance, do you want to be a lawyer? How much do you know about what patent lawyers actually do? What flavor patent lawyer do you want to be? Do you want to prosecute patents or litigate them?

I recommend getting an internship with a firm doing patent work to see exactly what their lives are like. If you like what you see, come back and we can discuss law school.
