Law School Letters of Rec.

I just graduated from UC Berkeley and I am planning on applying to law school in the Fall. I have three people writing me letters of rec. - a history professor, my advisor for my honors thesis, and a GSI. I also have a couple employers who I could ask. However, I am trying to decide if it is worth it. I know that they would be willing to write me a letter, but I feel bad because I am also applying for jobs and a couple of the people I was thinking of asking are also my references for job apps. So I just don't want to inconvenience them too much. Anyone have any advice?

Also, unrelated question. My GPA at Berk is 3.74. I know it's ok, but it's not anything amazing. I haven't taken the LSAT yet (I'm taking it in October). What does my LSAT score have to be in order to be competitive at the top law schools?

165 minimum. preferably 170+.

actually idk I made that up

haha thanks for the help

You’re definitely going to want at least a 170, preferably better, to get into a T14. If you get a better score than that you have a good chance at a scholarship, too.

And there’s a good chance that if you ask these people for recommendations to law school, they can apply minor changes to make the letters work for other kinds of references, too.
