Hey CC,
I’ve found some older posts/articles about how law schools tend to average LSAT scores if you take the test more than once. For T-14 schools is this still the case? Most don’t seem to specify on their sites. Harvard mentions they receive all but consider the best one. Is this a new trend?
While I’m happy I’ve increased my score quite a bit on practice tests, I’m generally not where I want to be yet. I’m signed up to take the test this weekend and am not feeling great about getting in the 50th percentile for my top choices. While eating the cost of withdrawing from this Saturday and applying later in rolling admissions isn’t something I’m thrilled about, is it worth postponing a little bit longer to December to increases chances of scoring a few points higher? Or should I take both tests even if schools will average a better score with one possibly possibly in the 166-168 range?
Any advice or insight is appreciated!
