Hi. Can someone please explain the difference between law, business and political science as majors? Like what kind of salaries do they make, jobs available after college, degrees after college, etc. Thanks so much!

Well, law is not a college major. That’s a pretty big difference. Law is a post-graduate degree. Some schools offer so-called “pre law” majors, but they are largely useless and conniving attempts to separate undergraduates from their tuition. As for the average salaries of various majors, I recommend punching that question into google.

If you’re talking about a pre-law major, I wouldn’t do that; it would be terribly boring for one. I assume that business is best if you’re going straight to the workforce after graduation and political science is best if you want to work in politics or go to law school. I assume that business would have the highest starting salary and most job options but for college, so much depends on the school, the person and the job that it’d be very hard to say.
