Lawrence Academy

Hey im new on here and im just trying to find out any information about Lawrence Acedemy. I got accepted to this school but i cant seem to find any specifics on it. Are there any students that go there on this board? Any information is helpful on making my decision. Thanks.

Lawrence*ville*?

No Lawrence Academy lol, Please wait...

Interested in finding out more about this school as well. I cannot seem to find anything about Lawrence Academy here (NOT Lawrenceville).

There is an interesting 9th grade program there. Pretty campus, set on a hill in a picture perfect New England town.

My brother, cousin, and many friends were very happy there quite a long time ago. Prior to 1970 was all boys.

It is interesting that there is so little interest on this thread.

So called "2nd tier" schools, excellent schools which are NOT St. Grottlesex, "HADES", or whatever vernacular is currently in vogue on this forum, hardly make the radar on here.

Many, many, students apply to boarding schools because the public schools they can attend are deemed sub par in some way.

The highest rated public school in Massachusetts ( where we like to think we value education) probably cant hold a candle to most of these "2nd tier" schools.

I'm sure in terms of academics Thomas Jefferson in Virginia can give a run for many 2nd tier schools money, maybe even a few first tier schools.

We visited the school and had friends who went there. Strong athletics, medium academics. More day students than what we were looking for. Beautiful campus.

Here's the link for BSR, it's a good starting point:
