Anyone have thoughts about this school?

Let me know.

yes...amazing place... enough said

and Hotchkiss? Would you suggest applying there too?

To me, hotchkiss did the magic; is even more amazing..

but in general, both schools are equally amazing...different school for different people. Try exploring their programs. If you are into music or art, both schools have state of the art facilities and performance hall that you can imagine. Lawrenceville's student body size is twice the size of hotchkiss. Lawrenceville campus is very spread out. Different building for different purpose. Hotchkiss' philosophy is to integrate everything into as little buildings as possible. Other than science classes (which take place in the science building) , all classes take place in the main building (well, sometimes in the woods or by the lake like for walt whitman's stuff but ya)...we emphasize the one building philosophy...you can see how we purposely build our brand new music building attached to the main building, so it's still technically one building...that's the philosophy...we like the interactions... and in fact..i see almost everyone every day. So again..different things work for different people

Did you start at Hotchkiss as a 9th grader? If not, is it harder to start as a 10th grader or above?

I'm applying for Lawrenceville
I like it alottttt.

&& many kids from my school later go to Lawrenceville. Last year, we only had one, but normally there are way more. This year pretty much all the boys are applying in my grade(and they are all qualified too..)
