What is best way to get to LAX on this Wednesday for turkey day? I heard there is a shuttle. How far ahead should you leave and hoe far ahead should you get to the airport?

You should have gotten an email last week about holiday shuttle options. There are free shuttles leaving at 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM on Wednesday, though they require a reservation. The email says to call or e-mail
Lisa Hernandez at (213) 740-4545 or lhernandez@trojanservices.usc.edu.

If those are booked or do not meet your travel needs, you can also take the FlyAway shuttle from Union Station. This is a $4 bus and leaves every hour I believe. Getting to Union Station can be done on a Metro Bus or on USC's own Intercampus/Union Station shuttle.

Primetime Shuttle and Super Shuttle are both shared van services and can take you from campus to LAX for about $15. These require a reservation at their respective websites, but offer a door-to-door service and more flexible times.

Airport people have been saying to arrive two hours early for domestic travel. So allow plenty of time since it's one of the busiest travel days of the year.
