Lbw 2012

I emailed Carrie yesterday and she said that they are still finalizing the results.
I think some results might be released tomorrow.
Though I think the chance of getting accepted seems to be very low, but I will still hope for the best.

Oh thanks for that! Hoping to heaven that ill get it right now…

Only admitted students will receive an email. I also emailed Carrie but she never responded.

How do u know that only admitted students will get email?

Hearing that the LBW Admissions is out of office, and so far no one has received information after the 11th I am pretty sure no email is a rejection. Nonetheless we are still part of LBW: Let’s Be Waitlisted. :)

lol wth LBW… at least tell us we got denied… giving us false hope (somewhat)

So who’s going?

lol this is hilarious… i got a rejection the monday after we were supposed to for wailist then get accepted 2 weeks later… so excited!

Im going to apply the LBW .i got 2250 on my SAT, GPA3.75, TOEFL114, earned 1000 dollars from a fashion business i set up myself in China, volunteered 3 months in Thailand, had some internships in Ping An Of China(Chinese insurance company)blah blah blah. Im so passionate about business and finance and have been obsessed with this program for years. So how is my chance to get in ?BTW Im from China.

Could anyone who went this past summer describe their experience? Thanks

If anyone has any questions about LBW, feel free to PM me!

LBW is an unbelievable experience for anyone who is interested in global economics, finance, entrepreneurship, or business in general. I attended last summer and it was honestly one of the most memorable months of my life. You get to live in Philly and the Quad at Penn for a month, meet unique and fun people from around the world, and gain so much insights and business experience. The trips to NYC and DC are also great weekend breaks. PM if you have any questions about admissions or the experience

Do grades matter a lot for this program?

I’m currently in 12th grade and graduating in 2013. Taking a drop year and applying to colleges in 2014, am I eligible ?

Did people from this thread apply/get into Wharton for ugrad? - I am accepted to LBW for 2013 and wondering if it might help with my application process this fall… (I know it says there is not a direct correlation between acceptance to Wharton and LBW) but…

Thanks for the help

i would PM but i am not at the 15 post threshold yet.
i have a 2200 sat, 3.33 UW (i know, not very good), varsity debate 3yrs, student council executive office, model un, skillsUSA, DECA, volunteer at soup kitchen and mathnasium(tutor kids in math).
What do you think my chances are of getting in for the 2014 program.
