I asked my teachers if the form was enclosed in their initial LBW email, but both said they haven’t seen it before. So really, is there a total of 2 articles of recommendation that each teacher has to fill out?</p>

Ppl usually don’t like to share details about their grades, test scores, ECs, etc., since there are a lot of college admissions officers on this board, and usually ppl don’t want to be identified by them. I know the chances are slim that that would actually happen, but usually people don’t post much stats around normal threads just to be safe.</p>
<p>If you want, you can go and start an “LBW Chance Thread” and if ppl want to, they can go there and post their stats, etc. over there
plus I don’t see much point in it now, either way you just have to wait till the decisions come out in April, and you would know how you would have done compared to the others. but as of now…</p>

<p>For example, I will say that my grades and test scores are probably a little below average, but I have some really cool ECs that I am hoping will get me in.</p>

<p>^ I think that may be difficult, given that the point of posting stats in the first place was determining exactly what is average, below, and above. Though I do agree that sharing details here may not be the best idea, though it is common practice on CC…</p>
<p>I think the best thing for everyone to do right now is just to wait, try to not wory about this, lose yourself in extracurriculars and other fun pursuits. As you’ll find next year with college apps, there’s really nothing productive to be done, and stressing just raises your anxiety!</p>

<p>^hmmmm… I would actually say that most of us are NOT nerds. High grades and good ECs does not make someone a “nerd” or socially awkward, and I find your statement quite derogatory. If it makes you feel any better, Wharton doesn’t like to accept “nerds” because that’s not what the school is about. They want people who can change the world and that is simply not possible by secluding yourself from others. They want people who are smart who will do well in the <em>business world</em></p>

<p>People can use this to give everyone a brief idea of where they stand.</p>
<p>I don’t see how posting our stats will affect admission decisions (whether LBW-related or college related). If we’re sending our applications to any Admissions Board they’ll have all of our stats available to them regardless. I really don’t think admission officers would be assigned to snoop around CC to match the thousands of stats posted on this board to any one person. No need to be so paranoid :)</p>

<p>Sorry for so many questions but depending on your involvement in each of these activities, you could either simply have a laundry list of achievements or a quite impressive application. Just trying to get an idea of where I (and everyone else) stand.</p>
<p>How about this… some people seem a little shy to share their stats so how about everyone just shares their ACT/SAT/PSAT scores and you can add any additional things if you feel so kind to do so. I promise, with the 400+ application that they will receive, their is no way that they would be able to (or want) identify you.</p>
<p>Currently, my non-profit isn’t registered yet, but we plan to register it as a 501c3 by the end of the summer. Here’s an excerpt from the Activity’s description that I included in the LBW application:

<p>As for my business, half of its generated revenue is reinvested within the business - I’m recruiting some of my friends in my neighborhood to begin raising chickens - with the other half donated to my church, since most of our customers are church members. Depending on how many eggs my feathery coworkers lay, our annual revenue ranges between $600-$820.</p>

<p>We don’t really calculate GPA in our school coz we all study A-Level stuff here. I don’t really wanna talk about my SAT coz I did terribly bad.
But I did get some good grades in my IG year. I got three stars and two As.</p>
<p>For my ECs, they are not so special.
I participated a business contest and was elected to be the CEO of our company, and later was awarded best delegate.
I set up the yearbook project in our school, coz in china, high schools don’t usually have one. I raised enough fund via the cooperation with local business.
I also run the student governing part, specially in charge of the public information department.It was similar as the promotion campaigns for the business.
I’ve had several other ECs like drama directing, MUN stuff, etc.</p>
<p>I think the most important thing is not your score, but the kind of person you really are. </p>

First of all, you don’t want to post your own stats but you want everybody else to go in detail and second you want everybody to share their sat/act scores but you wont post yours.</p>
