LBW at Wharton 2011

will they even consider if you don’t have any test scores? Or how likely you will be accepted? Thx.

Hey, does anyone know the word/character limit for the Activity short answers? And does the system automatically reject you if you submit something over the limit?

would it hurt if I don’t have that many leadership EC’s? My grades and test scores are pretty good, and is anyone sending in their AP scores?

hey guys, I am applying as well, how many people usually apply? Also is it ok if I do not send in my standardized test scores?..Also how did people mention their internships in their apps?

lebronheat: Babson college has a business program that is longer than LBW and has 2 different study options

[Babson College - Ugrad - Babson Summer Study Programs](http://www3.babson.edu/babson2ndgen/Ugrad/summerstudy/)

Hey guys I from Beijing China applying for LBW this year
got 2060 SAT in Jan, no other standardized scores.
Founded Business Association in our school, executive at a another club, project manager of a water preservation program…
Do you pay the 5000 bucks after you get admitted?

I’m applying but what if you haven’t taken the SAT or ACT yet?

Finished my application and I got an email saying that I didn’t… ***?

@Chrismeng: Yes, you pay IF you get admitted. All you have to do is pay the $75 application fee; if you make it, then you pay the $5000+.

If I am not mistaken that is not true, as they do have a waitlist in the program, and give spots to people on the waitlist if a person accepted cannot make it due to any reason.

Well I finished my application today. How do people feel about their chances?

Is it just me, or is there no submit button on the online application? How do we know if our application was sent or not?

good question…
frankly, I have no idea.

I believe they just “take the application” at some point…

i think you just leave it there unchanged for them to review

im applying to lbw too and im really nervous about it! i’ve wanted to go to lbw and wharton ever since i can remember. i think my ec’s and scores are all pretty good, but im worried im not going to get since there are soo many qualified applicants out there. i got a 225 on the psat, a 35 on the act, and i wrote my essay about becoming yearbook co-editor-in chief at my school. for my other activites, i wrote about being an officer in oru school’s BPA club, being in the microcredit club, and being a member of this volunteering leadership council thing at the local hospital. i didn’t mention any honors really though. for the space where it said other honors and activities, i just talked about more activities im in. sorry this post is so long, i was just wondering if maybe someone could chance me?

Well… I finished my app and now i’m just waiting for my teacher recs to get sent in >.< I haven’t done any testing yet…I hope that doesn’t kick me out of the running for this program :(. I’m enrolled in the IB program at the number one school in the Northern California region. I have a 4.5W/3.9UW GPA and I have some pretty strong EC’s (although you can’t really define what is considered “strong”, it’s just in my opinion). I wrote my essay on a moment I spent with my group members when preparing for a state competition and the development I felt in myself as a leader. Anyone want to chance me?

I feel like your stats are good; however, I think you missed the point of the prompt. The question was “Describe a moment…” not “Describe many moments…”.

oh yeah i know i wrote the essay specifically about the moment i gave my acceptance speech

oh and candidheart i think you have a decent shot at getting in but i think in your case, it all depends on the essay since everything else you have seems pretty standard. its past the deadline for the essay so maybe if you post yours or PM it to me, i could chance you better
