Anyone applying this year? Anyone know anything cool about it? 5000 dollars it alot!

OR does anyone know of any other great business summer programs?

you might want to check your local colleges. They might be offering a business camp/course over the summer.

We have a program called Idaho Business Week and it's really great. I know Ohio has a similar business week program. I would have loved to do the LBW summer program but $5,000 seriously. That's a lot. IBW only cost me $100 ($500 total, you get $400 if accepted) and that covered everything. (Room, board, meals, etc.) I would look for other options unless your family has the money.

LBW was the best summer ever! Ask anyone who has been there and they will tell u it was completely worth it. u meet upenn professors and take classes with them and u learn a lot. not to mention u meet a lot of great ppl. totally convince your parents to pay.

I am applying to LEAD this year. I know there was some summer program at Drexel sponsored by Commerce Bank. You may wanna check that out.

lbw or harvard summer? I am in a pickle....

Harvard = good

lbw is def more focus on business than harvard!
the two programs are very different that you almost can't compare them. LBW is only 4 weeks whereas harvard is eight. they are both very prestigious program but in terms of selectivity, lbw is more competitive.

do these summer programs actually provide admission adv. other than credit?

you receive credit(s) from harvard but not from lbw
harvard is more of a pre-college program which high school students get to taste the water of college! in terms of admission advantage, you wont get into harvard/penn simply by going to their summer programs. you will get a better sense of the campus which will be a great asset to have when you write your why penn/why harvard

ah, i see. thanks

Anyone appling/applied?

bump......

i did......

..........apply?

Does anyone know how long it takes them to review applicants?

i went three summers ago and i'm a wharton student now....if it is the same admissions as when i went then they have a rolling admissions which means they review apps as they come in....so later you apply the smaller the chance of getting accepted...but given the changes that have happened to lbw since i went....it might be completely different

Does anyone know anything on LBW 2006???????????????????????????

what do you want to know about lbw? it's without question the best high school summer program!
