LC vs. Rose Hill?

Hey everyone, I'm really interested in Fordham, but I was wondering if anyone had any insight into differences between the two campuses. I have two prospective majors, one at each school, so I was thinking I might apply to both? Is one more competetive than the other? Do you apply to the two campuses seperately? Thanks for any insight!

As you've prob. already read on another thread, the biggest difference is the actual campus. While RH is located in the Bronx, its campus is bigger and more traditional, LC is in the middle of Manhattan. I don't believe you can apply to both campuses. You must choose one to apply to, but I asked the Admissions Officer that came to my school if you could transfer and she said you could. I believe that Fordham is a competative school in general and it is not so much that one campus is more competative than the other it has more to do with space. LC is very small so there aren't as many dorms as RH making it more competative to get a dorm. Both campuses gave me the same feelings friendly, comfortable, and a sense of community. I think you'd end up happy at either campus lol =)

Tatiana basically got everything right. Also, if you do a little searching, you will find many many posts about this topic. Tatiana is also correct about admissions-- many people have this idea that Lincoln Center is much harder to get into than Rose Hill. This just isn't true at all.. both campuses have the exact same admissions standards. Like Tatiana said, getting a room at Lincoln Center is a bit more competitive but as far as getting in, it is equivalent to Rose Hill (unless you are applying to dance at LC-- that specific program is very competitive). And no, you cannot apply to both campuses-- you can only apply to one and if you get rejected at that campus, you are rejected from the entire university. Once at Fordham, you can, however, transfer between the two campuses as long as you have a decent GPA.

ok thanks, i was interested more in how competetive the two were as opposed to location. i'm disappointed its not possible to apply to both but i would definately be happy with either. thanks for taking the time to respond!
