Le Rosey or Beau Soleil

Hello.
I already studied abroad for a year in Switzerland but in a very strict, only-girls, catholic school. I want to study in Switzerland another year for my last year of high school and I want a different experience than my first year. I want to reinforce the french that I already learned in the past. So, I would be following the French Baccalaureat, that way my classes would be in french.

First of all, which school would be the better option for me? (putting money and everything aside. Im a girl btw.)

Second, am I able to just attend the schools for my last year of highschool (terminale/12th), or do both schools only let you attend for a minimum of 2 years? If the schools only let you attend for a minimum of 2 years, what prestigious/highly recognized schools do you recommend for me where I could reinforce my french?

Also, How is the daily life at both Le Rosey and Beau Soleil? What are the students like? How much freedom do you have? (for any past alumi)

If you want to add any other information please do so.
Thank you, I know it was long!

Beau Soleil would be a much better option if you are going for a serious education. Most (not all) Le Rosey students are there because their families are wealthy, not because they’re serious about their education.

The daily life at Le Rosey is a lot of pleasantries and chocolate breaks. Students are taught manners and such (all students must stand when an adult enters the room, for example.) Students at Le Rosey have a very pompous attitude. They are all from high achieving families, and see themselves as better. When a family member of mine went to school there, she heard numerous students refer to the help as les esclaves (the slaves) or the village people as les paysans (the peasants). The staff coddle the students as well, they are encouraged to make sure the students are happy so they won’t leave the school.

I don’t know a whole lot about Beau Soleil, but Le Rosey is not a school for students who want a genuine education. Not trying to offend Le Rosey alumni, this is only what I have personally experienced when visiting the school and what an alumni has told me about the school. But I would advise against this school.

Le Rosey is not worth the hefty price tag, trust me.
