<p>Email them for general principles to make sure they recieved your app. I did the same and had i didnt, i would have even been considered. They didnt recieve my application questionaire so i had to submit it twice.</p>

<p>This might sound awkward but i want to know about the facilitys and stuff and how it was.</p>
<p>I know now that you guys had single dorms but what about bath rooms and showers.. Did you guys have your own showers or community showers? what were living quarters like, living conditions for the 3 weeks?</p>
<p>For the business solution essay do they want us to paste the entire article and then our essay, or just like a link to the article?</p>
<p>pnthrs 11 i called the people at LEAD and they said that all the stuff just needs to be postmarked by Feb 5. but i wud still send it in a little early just to be safe</p>
<p>At Penn, almost all of us had singles (as madicent7 pointed out) and we used community showers. I never waited for a shower, and the bathrooms seemed to be somewhat cleaned daily (or every other day). Rooms did not have refrigerators or microwaves.</p>
<p>I don't know what to really say about living conditions...we all stay in dorms. Sure, rooms and hallways are a little drab, but you'll settle in quickly. Just don't leave food open; rats and ants might stop by if you do.</p>
<p>But it was nice to live in a place like the Quad...the architecture and huge yard in the middle made up for the shortfalls of a dorm.</p>

<p>I had 2 kids participate in LEAD, one at UVA and the other at Dartmouth. Both had great experiences. No need to be concerned about the quality of the program or the general experience. It's top notch. You'll learn a lot, make some good friends, meet some business leaders, and work on some interesting projects. And yes, LEAD does boost your resume'. It gets noticed. I think a fairly high % of LEAD alums end up at their school of choice and do very well afterwards. Those of you who will participate really have something to look forward to. </p>
