<p>Hey! I was wondering if anyone knew how many people actually receive the ucb alumni leadership award/scholarship.
The email I got said 1000 finalists were picked. That seems like a pretty hefty amount of people.</p>

<p>I would say around ~250 freshmen are picked as scholars. 1,000 is not such a hefty amount when there are over 10,000 applicants.</p>
