does anyone know how to send SAT score reports? just a printout maybe?

I have the same question. My D just took Jan SAT score and has not recevied any official score report but already knew the score online via college board. Can we just print out the score from college board and mail it to the LBW office since her school does not include PSAT/SAT in the transcript?

I applied already. Got in contact with the people about the score reports, and they said that they’d like official score reports. That means photocopies = not ok right? In any case, you have till 3/7 to get your stuff in, and it’s not a first come first serve basis.

I’m in CA, I applied to East cause it’s the same price but more time in Penn :D

The thread is really inactive this year. Are less people applying or what?

I applied to the LBW east, but I also applied to Cornell Summer College, and I think that I’d rather do that if I’m accepted to both.
Also, I’m not very confident on my odds of acceptance for LBW.

Hey Everyone!!! I am applying to LBW and was wondering how my SAT’s compare. I dont have the best scores. Tell you the truth i dont even have good scores. 1900 :((((((. But i am extremely involved in school. Great grades, ECs, Volunteering, almost a boy scout eagle.
Anyone else want to say how there apps are looking. I mean I really want to know about SAT’s

and does anyone know if there are just less people applying or is it just not a popular forum.

Question! How would you send an “official” score report to LBW? I’m attempting to right now, but Collegeboard only has the option of sending it to colleges/scholarships…

You can send them copies of the score reports that Collegeboard sends you, or worst case scenario, you can send a printout from the website.

Source: LBW website

Online app deadline is extended to March 15! Did anyone get the email? I just wanna make sure. lol

Haha elec, I’m in the same situation
sorta procrastinating ont he essay
but yeah I got the e-mail, but its not changed on the official site >:O

Elec, yes I think it’s officially extended because I also got an email that said they typically extend the deadline by a week every year.

But I have a question? What is the average acceptance rate and what do they weigh heavily upon in the admissions process? SAT scores? Extra curriculars? The essay? Recommendations?

Thank yall! And good luck!

hey, i’m wondering the same thing. my sats arent great either, but i have a lot of ECs and i think my essay was pretty good. i’m not really confident that i’ll be accepted, considering the amount of people who apply and the amount of spaces that they have in their program… so i’m thinking about applying to some back-up programs.
i can’t believe we don’t find out until april 23… that seems like years from now

hey guys! march 15…i can’t seem to find a submit button…

I’m an alumnus of LBW 2009.

Great program. A whole lot of fun.

I can vouch that participation in LBW has no effect on admission to Penn. I got into LBW and fit in very nicely during the program. My grades and test scores were higher for my Early Decision Wharton application and I got rejected. Not even differed. Obviously, I was very disappointed.

If your reason for going is to help your chances for getting into college, then you SHOULD NOT go. If you want to spend a month, experiencing what it’s like to be a college student while getting a crash course on the many different aspects of business, then LBW is right for you.

Also, the head RTA this year was my RTA last year and I got to know her very well. She is one of the most down to earth people you will ever meet and her perspective is truly amazing.

18 days until decision day guys!

Exciting! Does word gets sent out via email, or will we have to wait for the good old mailman?

I think it’s by email.

It is by email, misterkevinsun is correct. Let me know if you have any questions guys, I attended LBW 2009 and was accepted Wharton '14. It’s an amazing program, let me know if I can help you guys in any way!

Hi penned, i applied to the program this year. what are my chances.

GPA unweighted 3.89/4.0
ACT 33
Took 5 AP classes in sophomore and junior got 5’s in sophomore AP classes (2 of them).

I am interested in applying for upenn for next fall.

I would say your numbers make you a competitive applicant statistically, but I think that the deciding factor of this program is your leadership qualities, etc. So it is very hard to chance without your resume, essay, extracurricular involvement, etc.

I don’t really want to fill up this thread with chancing people for the program, so send me a private message if you have a question on this topic. If you have any questions about the program itself or my experience, let me know on this thread!
