<p>Hi I’m from the south bay la region, now living in New York, I got 2250+ on my SAT and applied to m&tsi, and got in.</p>
<p>ocean_ambition: my SAT/PSAT scores weren’t very high: i didn’t really study well for my PSATs and i only got a 1970 on my SAT =/ i really hope they don’t put too big of an emphasis on the transcript and scores. i have a 4.3 weighted gpa </p>

<p>I’ve still got a few days, it starts Thursday, so I guess we will see… Not too concerned if I win or lose, but placing again at states would always look nice on the transcript, haha</p>

<p>Yeah so for FBLA I ended up third in entrepreneurship, all because I went over time on our presentation because the lady never stood up like she was supposed to, its BS hahaha. But yeah, I got about $8,000 in scholarship money for it! I was excited until I saw the a small disclaimer that said, “Valid only at Johnson & Wales University.” Great lol… So no one heard back yet?? I am extremely anxious!!</p>

<p>I thought they come the 24th? And just to comfort some of you guys, I met with an RTA from the program when I visited Penn during spring break. She said the average SAT was about 2000, and a lot of you guys on this message board have above that. It seems amazing and any of you guys who haven’t visited Penn’s campus, I’ve never seen a nicer campus in my life. It’s better than UMICH and UVA’s campus.</p>
<p>I toured NYU today and I got Penn tomorrow…I’m sure I’ll have the same impression as you kevin!</p>

<p>By the 24th means they send out 24th late…and maybe for some reason it’s snailmail instead of email. That means they would be picked up saturday, no mail Sunday, meaning Monday is the earliest we could get them…</p>
