Leadership in the Business World "LBW" Summer 2014

@MLB7492 Where did you hear that 700 applied?? I heard between 200-300

If you took the SAT, but are taking it again and do not want to show your scores for admission to LBW, you don’t have to send them correct? Also, how would that affect your admissions chances (not sending them).

Hey guys; I have the same question as plusminus 77: would it be a drawback to your application if you haven’t taken any sort of standardized testing yet? I’m taking mine in March, but otherwise, I don’t have any testing results.

Thanks for your time!

@dabnag97 I personally don’t think there will be a drawback at all. As much as college admissions look at your SATs, I somehow feel like this program will focus more on your ECs, essays and GPA.

Essays sure are a pain! I wish you all good luck with your applications  I know ill still be working on mine February 27th

What do we upload for the SAT and PSAT score reports? Like just a screenshot of the online score report? Or do we actually send the scores to them like we would to a college through the Collegeboard?

@Chrifthe I think for SAT score reports, we can attach the pdf from online (the full score report). But idk for psat. I just scanned in the first page of the score report plus. Do you guys think that’s okay?

As far as I know, there are around 700 people applying. This estimate is solely based on the list of emails sent to those with incomplete applications.

@Chrifthe @chocolateluv999 I asked them through e-mail about standardized reports. This is their reply:
“No, reports do not have to be official. You may upload images or report uploads from CollegeBoard.com. The image must include your name and test scores.”

Alright so for the GPA/GPA Scale question what did you guys put?

I tried putting in: 4.19/4 4.19/4.0 4.19/4.00 4.2/4.0 and several others and it kept saying invalid input. I’m really confused.

If you guys could get back as quickly as possible that would be fantastic!!!

I asked them about the necessity of test scores, and here’s what they said:

“Many of our international applicants do not have standardized test scores.”

I’m assuming that test scores are not a deciding factor in the admission process then. Also, for the awards section, can we talk about the personal significance of the award?

Hey everyone! I’m a current Penn student and an LBW 2012 alum. If you have any questions about the program, let me know!

@ jdwasham4197 For the “leadership moment” essay I wrote about my leadership role as an older sibling, idk if that was a smart thing to do…

I don’t have a ton of business ECs, will my chances be hurt?

@pennstudent1995 How was your experience with LBW?

how do I submit my app?? there is no submit icon!!!

^ I have the same question. Theres no submit button, do the green checks mean that it is automatically submitted? help please

allday28…same thing here…now what? lol

Does the February 28th deadline mean tonight at midnight, or any time tomorrow? Because it says BY not BEFORE February 28th, and one of my recommenders still hasn’t submitted her rec

Haha, a response within the next 24 minutes would be nice…

As I bang out this last essay.
