warren did you get in?

Wharton, I didnt hear from them yet. What about you?

The schedule of last year's LBW is on the website, and I can pretty much tell you that we stuck to that schedule pretty relgiously, with maybe a few variations. We do some pretty fun stuff on the weekends, and nighttime is pretty chill.

The classes are mostly introductory courses to pretty much every subject in business, aside from finance/accounting, which is only briefly covered during one of the entrepreneurship classes. Coming from someone who came into LBW knowing a fair amount about business, I learned alot. I learned most about social/group dynamics and universal lessons, but also came out with more business knowledge than I did coming into it.

The kids are more-so what made me attracted to Wharton more than anything else. It just so happened that only one person from my team, who I became extremely attached to, got in/is-going to Penn. However, my good friend and probably roomate at Michigan next year is someone who was on my team at LBW and I become real close to. I am not sure if all the past LBW classes were like this, but it was shocking how well we all got along and how much we all had in common yet all were quite different.

Uhm. For the few LBW '05 kids reading this thread, they'll know what I mean when I say that I didn't have a strong feeling toward the VC's @ our business plan presentation, the one in particular I am pretty sure isn't being asked back this year. To answer your question though, no, the business plans aren't actually put into action, it would be too tough and thats not the point of writing the B-Plan. However, it is perfectly reasonable that in the future you could go ahead with your B-plan that you made @ LBW. I almost did in a seperate spinoff, but never worked out.

anyone know when the last and next dates are for reviewing apps?

Anyone hear yet? I dont know whats taking so long.

well im doing lead nyone else? i know this may not be relevent on this post but i hope i got into the one at stanford!!

Doing LEAD myself. We hear back late March/Early April.

ahhhh
I cant wait anymore!

I just want to know!

A few theories to why the "Rolling Admissions" are rolling uphill slow:

The college was/is closed for spring break.

They've done a first-pass on the completed apps. Admitted the few obvious high rollers and rejected those without a chance. The rest are in stacks with scoring sheets attached waiting for the April 1 deadline. After they get all the apps. they'll make final decisions. It would be crazy to give away all the spots before checking the whole app pool. These are business people. They know when to hold and when to fold.

My guess.....April 15th!

well... that means im not rejected yet...(or hopefully accepted) but that also means im gonna have to wait 1 month more!

Just theories. I wish I'd seen a letter in the mailbox today.

Dear LBW,

Aeon would be an AWESOME candidate for your program.

Sincerely,

Donald Trump

Dear LBW,

If only we'd listened to Aeon, we would not be in court today.

The Enron Boys

Dear LBW,

When Aeon was a baby, her first full sentence was...."Mr.Bezos, have you considered selling books over the internet?"

I recommend her highly for your program.

Jeff Bezos

Aeon, your a girl; you will most prob get in. It's the guys who have the competition.

Dear LBW,

Warren Buffett is a really cool candidate for your summer program. I think that he and Aeon will work well together. Please let them know soon so they can go to the store and buy an X-Box game to celebrate.

Bill Gates

All joking aside, has anyone else out there heard?
Has anyone called or e-mailed LBW or Krinsky?
Starting to get worried.

Yeah, same here its been over a month, since I sent my stuff in.

I got my acceptance letter last week.

Congrats and have a great summer.
I think I'm going to move on and apply elsewhere.
