Leadership?

<p>I am a junior right now and have heard a lot of people say that if you are applying to competitive schools then it is a good idea to have some form of leadership. I do a lot of volunteering and my ultimate goal is to go to medical school (cliched, sorry hehe). Is there anything I should look into for this summer? Or should I stick to volunteer work?</p>
