Learning Chinese or Spanish?

How would being a Chinese speaking white American be of any more advantage in the business world than a Chinese-American who spoke Chinese?

none. i just said white american because i read somewhere above about it, sry about that

I'm learning French and Japanese together. I don't find it that particularly hard, even though Japanese is much easier than Chinese imo (romaji > pinyin).

Hmm...Spanish and French are both Latin languages. According to a French substitute teacher I had for my French class once, Spanish and French share about 80% of the same grammar. For you, learning Spanish wouldn't be much of a challenge - but you know that.

HOWEVER, learning one of the Chinese dialects would be a GREAT challenge. It'd be very commendable and practical if you're going into business.
