Learning Communities

Hey! So I have a few questions about Learning Communities-

How exactly do they work building-wise? Does each residential building have the same learning community, or are they designated to a specific living area? Roughly how many people are in each one?

For example- I'm thinking about the International Relations learning community. That or the outdoors one. Any thoughts? Anyone else thinking about this?

Each Learning Community is designated to a specific floor in a specific dorm. For example, Sadler 7 is the leadership LC and a floor in Day is for International Relations. However, not everybody on the floor is in the LC. It really depends on how many people sign up for the LC. I know the IR LC is usually quite a large group. This year, the IR LC had a couple trips to NYC and Toronto. I haven’t heard much about the other LC’s. There should be more information on the Syracuse Housing or Syracuse learning communities website.
