learning communities

What are your thoughts on learning communities? I am undecided as to weather I want to participate in one of the management school learning communities or not. What are some pros and cons of living in one? I want to have a good time, and maybe rush for a frat, but at the same time i want to be able to focus on studies. Am i better off just picking normal housing?

anyone…?

I didn’t live in a learning community, and I did just fine. They can be very helpful when doing homework and studying for exams. You basically have a study group made for you, one that lives on your floor.

I’m not familiar with the management LC, but with the engineering ones, you typically live on the same floor and do special programs. You’d have to look at the specifics of the program and see if that is conducive to you possibly rushing.
