<p>Is it a valid activity to include in the extracurriculars section of the common app? I've spent many hours a weak for several years attending English courses. They were not provided by my school and are the same as my high school English classes.</p>
<p>Nope; I would rather put it in additional information. For extracurriculars, they want to see more of club activities and sports</p>
<p>What is their attitude towards sports that I only do for recreation, for example, skiing with my family? Can hobbies such as fishing be included? </p>
<p>Or should I better enter only a few (less than 7) really good ECs such as student council?</p>
