The only issue I’m seeing with the Concordia Programs is that they only give you one year of the language. If I combined this with self study, would that be sufficient to get to level 3?

Maybe if you took two 4 week sessions…but that is a lot to aim for in three months.

Check out Alliance Francaise online.

You mean this: [.: ALLIANCE FRANCAISE :.](http://www.alliancefr.org/sommaire.php3?lang=en) ?

It looks like I’d have to move to France… :(

Remember reading Eat, Pray, Love? That first part made me want to self study Italian.

I am a third vote for Concordia Language Villages, especially if there is some scholarship money available. My kids attended a total of 10 sessions, D2 spent 2 summers in the Finnish high school language credit program. She had a blast and learned a lot of Finnish.

on Concordial Language Villages ^^^ Not so many summers after she was a camper at El Lago del Bosque (for three summers), my D is a counselor at Al-Waha this summer. She can’t wait for it to start. :)

D1 wasn’t quite confident enough in her Finnish to apply as a counselor (and had a better paying job :)), but she is headed to U of Helsinki for the fall term (if we can get all the residence permit paperwork complete!).

My D is also a counselor this summer! I won’t divulge which camp, tho…
