Least popular dorm

What is the least popular dorm for freshman? I turned in my housing contract almost a month late, so i'm probably going to end up there.

i think Francisco Torres since it is like a mile off campus, 1/3 of all the freshman are in FT. WHen i was filling my preferences i put FT as my number one choice and now i tried to change it but it was too late.

FT might be the least convenient dorm, but it is far from the least popular. Each set of dorms has it's problems. Manzanita and San Raf are quieter and have more upperclassmen, so they are often seen as less fun. The older dorms are smaller and the large bathrooms (like multiple stalls and showers) are a turn-off for some.

I was in FT last year and it was sooo awesome.

The commute wasn't bad at all, I mostly used my bike, and it was only a 10-minute ride to campus. It's fun to bike with your friends to class! If you don't want to use a bike, you can use the bus, which is very reliable during class time hours.

FT has the biggest rooms of all the dorms and its own pool, gym, and dining commons right there.

Two rooms are connected by one bathroom, which has a shower and a toilet. Each room has their own sink to share between you and your roommate.

And FT is also conveinent if you want to go out to IV or the grocery store.

There are no community bathrooms and there are about 70 people on a floor, which is good for freshman because you meet a lot of people really fast.

Believe it or not FT was the #1 requested dorm

wat u guys think about San Nicholas? anygood?

hows san raf?
i might be transferring to SB next year and i want to experience living in dorms because i lived at home during my two years at community college.

Wut Do You Guys Know About Sbcc?

I know that they're the reason why UCSB is rank #2 in party schools by Playboy Magazine.

@ Original Name: I'm assuming there are individual shower stalls in the older dorms, correct?

Yes, there are individual shower stalls... the fronts separated by a shower curtain.

where do sbcc students live?

santa barbara community college? if so, i heard lots of students that go there live in the Island Vista as well.

It's Isla Vista, not Island Vista.

If I am applying to the College of Creative Studies, which dorm would be the best?
