i dont know deerfield very well, but i’ve that it isnt snooty at all and its a very relaxed/uncompetitive place. is it really that preppy?</p>

<p>Deerfield and Hotchkiss are both absurdly preppy but understandably so given how few applicants they see beyond Greenwich, Connecticut. St. Paul’s is also very preppy.</p>
<p>At Andover the best thing to be is wealthy without having to display it. I’m also not sure how brewer thinks they can give out so much financial aid and still have an environment where everyone is uncomfortable about class</p>

<p>Benevolent, you have no idea how to read a post. Most. to Least. That would put Andover as the LEAST preppy of the HADES schools. kthxbai. As for Hotchkiss accepting FA students, beyond the obvious coastal Connecticut contingent, you really don’t know who are the FA students and who aren’t. Other than the certain types of people like that you’ll find anywhere, wealthier Hotchkiss students for the most part don’t flaunt their wealth - it’s looked down upon, and while Hotchkiss is undeniably very cliquy, almost every circle of friends has quite a great deal of socioeconomic diversity.</p>
