I am currently taking a leave of absence from my current UC due to very serious mental health reasons and will most likely have to take classes at a community college to continue my education until I am healthy enough to return back. I was wondering how a medical school would view this leave and how taking cc classes would affect my chances. I wish I could continue and stay at my current UC but this leave was adviced by both the school’s psychologist and dean of students.
Your health is far more important that college of any kind. Do what you need to do to become healthy. That’s way more important than even wondering about medical school in the future.
