Do you think that students who have on-campus interviews have a chance to leave more of an impression than the students who have of-campus interviews?

There are a lot of ways that you can leave an impression e.g. essay, grades, interests, recs
but, is it possible that meeting in person will make it easier to represent yourself?

I think that if you live within a 4 hour drive, you should definately make the effort to visit. It’s worth it not only in how a school views you, but more importantly, in how you view the school. Some of the school that my daughter and I just visited are just so different in person. In a good way, mind you, but still very different from the viewbooks, websites, etc.
