Who here went to a different college than the person you had a crush on in high school? How was it emotionally?

It seems to me that a lot of HS seniors base their decision on which college to attend based on following around their figure of unrequited love...

Crushes are easy to get over. If you are having difficulty getting over a crush, I recommend that you start thinking about other things…

oh no im not talking about myself…was just curious

Its far easier to leave behind a crush than someone you actually went out with and cared about for a while.

But anyway, at least for crushes, a lot of the pangs of anxiety and distress are caused by a form of insecurity; fear that you will never meet someone as great/ it will be hard for you to find someone new. Both of these are sort of preposterous and you’ll get over it as soon as you find the next girl, as superficial as that sounds.

You’ll get over it. A couple of weeks will pass, you’ll meet some hot chick in your history class, and then it starts all over again.

If it was just a crush, that’d have very little influence over me. Had em in high school, have em in college, have them about high school people while in college, etc.

List goes on and on =p

"It seems to me that a lot of HS seniors base their decision on which college to attend based on following around their figure of unrequited love… "

wow, that’s stupid

well i was talking about some people (well actually two dudes i overheard in class) at my school who chose to commute cause they knew their crushes would go to the nearby college

most high school love things dont seem to last

So this hypothetical person has a crush on someone else, and wants to follow them to college?

Well, either this hypothetical person should do something about it, ask her out, something like that, or get over it. If this hypothetical person can’t even do that, there’s no point in following.

look at it this way, there will be FINER girls in college.
