<p>My first year at community college I failed miserably at for a year due to personal problems. Then I cleaned up and switched to another community college and did fantastically for 2 years. I have already applied and been accepted to a prestigious 4 year university, but I had not mentioned or written about my 1st community college due to fear of rejection. In hindsight this was beyond stupid, but it's too late now to go back and change it. What I'm wondering now is if the school will find out about the 1st community college when I send in my transcripts. I will NOT be turning in the transcripts from the 1st community college, only the transcript from the one I am currently attending will be sent. I did apply for financial aid at the 4 year, but recieved none (does BOGW count?) at the 1st community college. Is it possible to "erase" bad CC grades like going back as a re-entry after a few years? Or am I pretty much screwed forever?</p>
