Leaving Pre-Med for a business track

Hi, I was studying pre-med at St. John’s for the last year and a half, and I’ve decided that it’s just not for me. I was already an economics major, and i wanna keep that and if possible, pair it with finance. Now, my question is regarding the prestige factor. is the Tobin college of business at SJU better than Baruch, or should I go for Baruch? Or does it just not matter? Other factors include me wanting to graduate on time.

Baruch is likely cheaper and has definitely more power (their career fairs are huge and very, very well-redruited).
In any case, try to transfer and see where you’d rather be since you’re already in at St John’s.
Be aware that you’ll have to pass a certain number of classes in order to be admitted to Zicklin.

St John’s isn’t that bad compared to Baruch. It depends on the money. If it’s really worth it to you to transfer to Baruch (you’d be losing scholarship money since transfers don’t get much), then do it. If not, stay at St. John’s and graduate on time.
