Lebow school of business?

Does anyone have any comments to make on Lebow of Drexel U? I am quite interested in the school itself and am planning a trip sometime in July. Could anyone with experience or just general knowledge of the school share some insight? I am a PA resident and will be a Senior in High School after the summer.

Lebow college of business is a great school. Every year it goes up in the rankings and in my opinion in just a few years it will be in the top 50 business schools in just a few years. There are some aspects of the school that are already known and ranked nationally, for example, Lebow has the #3 ranked entrepreneurship program in the whole united states last year [Top 25 Undergraduate Entrepreneurial Colleges for 2008 - Entrepreneur.com](<a href=“Top colleges and business schools for entrepreneurs.”>Top colleges and business schools for entrepreneurs.). Drexel’s Business and Engineering program is also very unique and one of the most competitive programs out there because of its high job placement record and history of successful graduates. To be honest though, the rankings don’t mean that much and a lot of it is underrated. The #1 best thing about the school I believe is the co-op program. There is no other college so focused and oriented on the co-op program in the country (although northeastern is up there as well). Students get six month, paid, full-time jobs at companies. These are real jobs where you’ll have just as much responsibility as a starting level employee. It’s a great way to get your foot in the door with companies that would never look at you right out of college like the big four accounting firms, or companies like Goldman or JP Morgan. I’d say about 75% of drexel students love their co-op job, the other 25% might end up hating what they do and this is actually a good thing because they know that they might want to switch concentrations say from accounting to marketing. Lastly, the student orgs and student life at Lebow is huge. You can’t go one day without their being an event or student org function. There are tons of business organizations and its a great way to get involved. check out [Ticker (beta)](http://www.lebowticker.com) for a sample of the events business orgs put on all the time. (the actual college of lebow also puts on numerous events for students themselves as well)
