Can someone tell me how to apply to these scholarships (essay?)and how to make myself more likely to win these scholarships? I have met the requirements for these scholarships. Thank you!</p>
<p>Write every essay. The scholarship application is through apply texas I believe. Also, just meeting the minimum requirements stated for the scholarships will not be near enough to get one of these. I would do everything possible to beef up the resume because I do not kid around when I say 1 position in class rank could make the difference between 10k and Nada. High test scores and a lot of extracurricular activities(well rounded not just academic) is very important.</p>
<p>You will be automatically considered for these scholarships, the Presidential Endowed Scholarship, and others, when you do the scholarship application part of the Apply Texas application.</p>
<p>So I would guess that chances of receiving these are very slim?</p>
<p>My S’s dorm mate was NM Commended and received one of these scholarships.</p>
