It seems doable on a map within 10 minutes but how is it in reality?

Maybe 7-10 minutes depending on how fast you walk, if you take the Cory-->Hearst Ave-->Etchverry route.

um, no that is not a good idea.
Right now I have a Lewis to GSPP walk from Chem 3A to Stat 134.

It is a ***** of a walk. It is not doable, especially if your LeConte professor/gsi goes over the hour.

oh crap... any other opinions? I have to go from Leconte to Etcheverry too. :S

distance is moderate, but there's construction at the CITRIS building so the most direct route is cut-off. You'll have to detour using North Gate or thru Cory Hall, which will add some time.

I've used Cory, but for first time users it can be confusing. Cory is built on a hill so when you enter from the campus side you'll have to go up a few floors to reach Hearst Ave. To make it more confusing the campus-side entrance has two separate entrances; one to the elevators and another to stairs which are also on different floors. I would recommend walking out this route before classes start just so you won't be confused on day one.

i can do it in 5 minutes. hella fast walking. as long as you know the shortcuts.

Alright cool, I'll just make sure to walk it beforehand

yes u can def. do it... i walk from unit 2 to barrows in 10 min and its about the same distance...

unit 2 to Barrows and LeConte to Etcheverry is completely different.
