Does anyone here have any suggestions about what to ask during a college lecture if you don’t even know where to begin? For instance,a Professor or TA is introducing a new chapter or concept and you’d like to ask questions to have a more interactive or hands-on lesson to learn more rather compared to just absorbing the information as it comes along.
You can ask them to reexplain something because you didn’t understand, but more often if it is a short 50 minute in a large lecture it’s usually best to just go along and then go to office hours or tutoring the next day.
Office hours and tutoring are the places to go to get interaction.
I agree…unless you have a specific question about the topic (which you should ask then, but being judicious about how often you ask), go to office hours if you want more. I think homework or lab are usually the way they you to have a more hands on or interactive lesson.
