How many people usually apply each year? And how many get in?
@stevensony they say that about 100 people get in every year and @smarttaytay , who is a LEDA alumni, said the acceptance rate was 12.5%

I haven’t heard anything, no. Remember, though, all decisions come out at once, so when we hear something you probably will too.
Well I am excited for this program because of the diversity of people from country of origin, to language, to race, to state
@Visionary7 Not only that but I’m so grateful that people would take the time and money to organize this for students like us… When I first looked into summer programs I looked at ones such as Stanford summer school or sessions at Columbia. they were both in the thousands so there was no chance I could have gone, so the fact that there is a program like this… it gives me renewed faith in humanity. 
It renewed mine, it is amazing people have faith in kids like us that under-resourced but still manage to excel

The second round acceptances have been emailed out. I was accepted, but I’m curious to know how many students are put into the second round and then how many are in the finalist round, so if any LEDA scholar could help me out I’d be greatly appreciative.
@ndbbmb Are you able to submit round 2 material currently? Or does it still say lock from submission?

My account is still locked so I can’t do anything. Either they forgot to unlock them or they’re waiting until they notify everyone so we all have the same amount of time.

I think that they still might be accepting people. They said on twitter that final decisions will be made by the end of February. It’s still the middle of the month. It’s weird how people didn’t receive rejection letters. That just makes me believe that they haven’t finalized all their decisions. Furthermore, people are still locked from submitting material.
I got the part two notification as well, and I am very much ecstatic about it!! as @ndbbmb said, does anyone know how many people make it from round two to round three?
