Ok guys, I was just looking at the LEDA thread from last year, and the people who got interviews were notified within a week of whether they were accepted or not. So this whole thing can go pretty quickly. I hope it all happens the same way for us. The suspense will def. kill me!</p>
<p>They interview about 70 (?) people and accept 60. The notifications after the interviews can come pretty quickly - my friend was accepted within hours last year… I still haven’t heard back from Step 2 though. 
So nervous, esp having had just been rejected from SIMR haha.</p>

<p>@juliwang I’m from Florida and I haven’t gotten notification on whether I would advance to part 3 or not. I’m pretty sure it’s determined by region based on the info from those who got to part 3 on this thread. I hope we will know by the end of this week or definitely by next week but that’s just my guess…</p>

<p>@ThumnusTheGreat. I feel the same way. It’s like I have no hope left because they past my region and one of my friends already got his interview. Although I am still hoping because they asked for some missing part of my application, I will not set my expectation high.</p>

<p>I’m from California, and I haven’t get any notification yet. It sounds like they already passed my region, does that mean I’m not getting into third round?
by the way, I wrote 550 words for the personal statement, because I received part II instruction and it said no more than 550 words. How come some people wrote like more that 1000 words?</p>

They probably didn’t receive the instructions or didn’t follow them. Haha, you’re fine bro, don’t worry about others.</p>

<p>For those who already had your interview, did they call you and ask what number you could be reached at or something. Did we put in our phone numbers on the application somewhere? My interview is tomorrow morning and Ms. Gonzalez never called me but my appointment was confirmed online?</p>
