If we don’t have an email by April 30 then we can get nervous lol

I just got an email saying I have been selected to become a Leda scholar!! Gaaaaaaaaa!!!

OMG!!! Congrats Jei!!!

Congrats Jake Martin :)

Yay!!!
Congrats!

Omg me too! I got my email awhile ago, but it said there was rolling admission and no one else had posted anything yet. But I guess I’ll see you there Jake! How did you react, cause I started hyperventilating at school. I was so dumb struck because my interview was yesterday morning, but it was so much fun!

Sorry, what does “rolling admission” mean exactly?

Also, congrats up!!!

I’m pretty sure that it means that students are notified as they make their decision. So what I’m thinking is that they comb through the kids who got an interview every week. Then they go ahead and send them their acceptance letters.

Congratulations!!

iflyaway :)

OK thank you!!

Just like to congratulate you two once more.

Np and thanks again!

I’m still hoping that they will email me something soon :)

Well it’s rolling admission, so it’s possible.

I was just notified I have been admitted as well! Yay

:( I haven’t received anything yet…I hope that is not bad news!

Btw I am from Colorado for any one who was wondering

Congrats viv!!!

OK!!!
Guys!
I have some proof to support some of the theories.

So far, I know that people from Colorado, Utah, and Hawaii have been interviewed/admitted.

Those states are very small in population. It supports my theory that they’re saving the big states for last.

I remember someone saying that electoral votes are based on population.

Those states have 4-9 electoral votes.

But states like Cal have 55. New York has 31 and Pennsylvania has 21 respectively.

So I think this admission is still rolling, saving the big states for last.

This method ultimately helps leda ensure a diverse/fair distribution of scholars from each state.

Hawaii has 4.
Colorado has 9.
Utah has 5.
